Christina received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology in 1999 at Bowling Green State University, her Masters of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati in 2006, and a Masters of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2021.

Christina has over 20 years of experience as a chemical dependency counselor.  She has experience working at different levels of care: medication assisted treatment, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient.   She also is experienced in  individual/group counseling and working with individuals that are court ordered to treatment.  Christina’s theoretical approach is based on the belief that clients are in charge of their counseling experience. She views the counseling process as an alliance between client and counselor.  Christina uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-Educational Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy.

In her free time Christina enjoys gardening, walking her dogs and spending time with her family. Christina enjoys taking on new challenges; she has completed triathlons, marathons and enjoys renovating her home.
